It’s not often that you see a combination of engines and art, but in his latest work, Brooklyn artist Jonathan Brand has combined the two by building every single part of a 1969 Mustang coupe at 1:1 scale out of nothing but paper!

Not sure about building a truck this way … although it would probably surprise folks at the weight stations!

CNN is investing about $15 million to rework its digital infrastructure, increasing its emphasis on consumers who get content from mobile phones and tablets.

Jeff Zucker, president of CNN Worldwide, said the move is aimed at grabbing new viewers who reach for the nearest screen when breaking news erupts, not necessarily the one that is part of a TV set.

“The future of CNN is as much about digital as it is about a television screen,” Zucker said at a media event. “I fervently believe mobile is a big part of our future,” he added later.

Here’s a Friday story that will warm your heart and inspire you. Zach Hodskins is a high school basketball player who has been offered a spot as a walk-on at the University of Florida by Coach Billy Donovan. That’s not so unusual, but what is unusual is that Hodskins’ left arm ends at his elbow.

Before you say, “publicity stunt,” watch the video of Hodskins playing. He has legitimate skills, and he played both high school and AAU ball over the last few years. He hasn't decided yet whether to accept the Florida offer, but no matter what he decides, this young man has already done something important. He’s reminded us all of the power of determination.

Be safe, and have a wonderful weekend!

But like Phase One two years ago, Phase Two represents a lot of work for brake makers and truck builders.
