The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is warning drivers about a scam to cheat them out of $350 and send them on a wild goose chase.

According to FMCSA’s warning, the scammers call CDL holders and soon-to-be CDL school graduates saying that they represent a “known and legitimate” fleet, offering drivers jobs with better than average pay and benefits. The drivers are also told that the carrier will even waive past criminal and DUI convictions, according to the FMCSA.
