The 72-hour Roadcheck commercial vehicle safety event is slated for June 3rd – 5th this year. During the Roadcheck program, approximately 14 trucks and buses are inspected every minute of the day somewhere in the U.S. and Canada.

Florida Highway Patrol Captain Derek Barrs says that a motor carrier is three times more likely than usual to see one of its trucks/drivers inspected in the U.S. and Canada during these three days, with states typically increasing manpower at their fixed pit locations and weigh stations for the program.
